'oogling, it's a number frequently reported as used by one of those fake Windows support schemes, people claiming to be from Microsoft calling to help you with your Windows.

(Several people 'oogle turned up thought they were selling storm windows at first!, apparently pretty unclear pitch)

Calls our sonic.net business Fusion line repeatedly, always hangs up, whether picked up by our answering machine or a live person. According to this scam call report site ( http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-510-606-7361 ), caller is a scammer who pretends to be an attorney and threatens people with immediate legal disaster unless they turn over hundreds of bucks. Presumably we miss that treat because we are a business? Doesn't stop them from calling us over and over, however.

Also 253-429-3454. More hang-up calls, never leaves a messages. Has been calling for months. Some sites say it has something to do with earthlink, but we are not earthlink customers, never have been, and have had the same phone number for ten years.

Sure wish we could create our own blocklist of numbers to ignore. We were always able to do this with AT&T lines. It would take a lot to drive me back to AT&T, but invasive, persistent scam callers might just succeed.

It is coming in as a fax transmission. I contacted the business referenced with caller ID, Hawkes Radiator service in Mesa AZ. They report that they are aware of the problem,but someone is using their name and number without their permission. I have gotten 4- 5 fax transmission calls today from this number.
