I received a menacing-sounding robocall Friday June 10 at 3:11 p.m. from Richmond, Virginia. It said "...filed against you. Your case number is CH76295. The moment you receive this call I need you or your attorney of record to call me. My number is 804-212-0344. This issue is extremely time sensitive. If you do not return this call as this situation totally unfolds against you all I can do is wish you good luck." It's obviously a scam.

I have received this same threatening phone message several times on my cell phone. Out of curiosity my husband and I returned their call and spoke to a foreigner from INDIA....claiming to be from the IRS. We were given a case ID# CH76295.
He was very threatening but we couldn't help but laugh at the situation. After several minutes of listening to his harsh tone he said we would be arrested in 30 minutes. My husband said "We look forward to it!", which stunned the "IRS agent". He then hung up on us. So we kept calling back....just for entertainment purposes. Eventually they blocked MY cell phone number. So we promptly grabbed my husbands cell phone and started calling them from HIS line. We find it funny to harass the sh!@ out of them! Shockingly they continually hang up on us! LOL
