That's Sonic's outbound fax number for someone using "Send a Fax" when s/he doesn't have FaxLine established. Sonic Support should be able to trace the caller and take appropriate action. You might want to contact Support to start the process.

(214) 247-7137. I picked up the phone yesterday at 9:17 A.M. when caller ID showed that number. I suspected it was spam so I never made a sound. An apparently-recorded voice told me this old scam: The Treasury Department would take some action against me unless I let them help me, etc. I hung up.

At 2:11 P.M. they called back. I did not answer and retrieved their message from voice mail. They said this was my second notice, etc. They said to call the same number shown in caller ID, as they had said the first time.

At that point, I reported those incidents to the Do Not Call registry and filed a scam complaint with the FTC. I contacted Sonic support, who said to post here. Interesting that no one else seems to have reported that number.

Received fake IRS call 3 times today within 4 hours. Robo woman's voice said this is the final notice before litigation would start from the IRS. 505-715-6655 was the source and number I was asked to call . Please block. I have reported this to the IRS and FTC.
