No, the issue is RTs where they have VRADs and would like to move their customers, sell them TV, etc. They "forgot to apply a filter" for the notification letters.

Oh, there's a VRAD in my neighborhood... The UVerse guys have been by several times, promising 18MBps.

Yah, they really want to sell you TV. The push off of the RT and over to the VRAD opens up this possibility - but clearly they're not supposed to be treating our customers as if they were theirs!

So do I have to do something or not?

No, AT&T says these should be disregarded. We are attempting to get a letter from them to this effect, but no luck yet.

That is one of the reasons I love Sonic. I hate my union so it hurts me to say this but Sonic is like my "union" for Internet service. I trust that THEY will find out what AT&T is trying to do to me. They will represent me in that battle. They will make sure I get treated fairly or they will continue to bang their head on it until things are settled. And when Sonic talks "strike" I listen.

Well, the hits keep on coming. Got a robocall from AT&T this morning that our service was going to be switched over on the 24th.

This is really annoying and sad.

Can you guys lean on them at all?

I've already sent a note back to support on my previous ticket.

Thanks,
Bob

Ok, today, I recieved a text message from ATT about this. Should I respond to them, or are you guys on this?

If it were me, I'd call them and try to wring an answer out of them. Most likely, the first CSR you get won't know diddly about wholesale customers and you'll have to escalate up the chain to get a decent answer, if that's even possible.

Pardon my skepticism, but I'm in a similar position as you are (on an RT in San Jose). The only difference is that I haven't (as of yet) received any of these notices.
