Too bad I lost the ability to estimate how far I was from the CO when deciding if I should get Sonic. Is there any chance that tool will come back?

Yes, we are working on that, as well as some more refined estimates of speed based upon the various connection types in the works.

Ditto. I can't find anything on the site anymore. Just to check, I went there now. If I look up Fusion it asks me for my address to see if it's available. I have to click more to find info. The Fusion for Home does list features. The Fusion for Business does not. For example, it offers a "Cloud Phone" but nowhere does it explain what the hell that is or how it is different from the phone I already have with Fusion.

You used to be able to see links to common problems and articles that solve them. Gone.

You'll find those linked at the bottom of the page, as well as in the "Support" section, linked from the top navigation bar.

The links at the bottom of the page are sections, not individual items.

On the Support page there are a whopping 5 tech article links.

There just isn't the level of content that there used to be.

It's all still there, under the Knowledgebase links. You'll find this in the lower-left section of the support page, or at the bottom of every page under the support heading. Or, if you select any of the five "top" articles linked in the support page, that'll lead to the full Wiki too.

Sorry it was hard to find!

Yes, the Knowledgebase page is still old style and has content.

Given a choice between content and style, I'll choose the substance every time.

I agree the new design is very bad. I have spent the past hour trying to see what my options are for some potential upgrades and cannot figure out how to make that happen. Every 'service availability' check came back as failure, even for services I already have right now.

Something is royally broken with this site. I wonder how much business Sonic lost because of it?

I wish Dane would reply to my specific question - why the mobile-friendly website, and not the information-dense desktop site, especially if I'm using a desktop to view it?

Dane? Anybody? You going to reply to why you made this choice?

The website has been streamlined because the product has been simplified. All we sell today is a package of unlimited phone and Internet service for $40 monthly. (Coming soon, a bonding option for $20 will add a second data line.)

So in areas where customers today have older DSL products, the website won't offer service today unless we can reach the location with the new product. There are also locations at longer distances where Fusion would deliver slower speeds and we choose not to offer service to new customers there.
