This is a terrific improvement. About a year ago, we stopped answering calls from numbers we didn't recognize, in an effort to discourage spam callers. But we were still getting 10 to 20 calls a day. Today, we have not been bothered by a single call that we didn't want to answer. Thank you!

Couple of questions about Sonic's spam call blocking ...
I notice that the Voice Usage listing under Member Tools shows a lot of brief incoming calls with durations of :08 seconds or less, none of which actually ring through or show up on my phone's CallerID. Are these spam calls which Sonic is blocking?
Also, at around the time Dane announced the Nomorobo feature, I and several others on these forums were seeing a large increase in spam calls from (allegedly) 11-digit numbers of the form xxx-555-xxxxx, then after a week or so these calls stopped as suddenly as they'd started. Did Sonic do something to fix that? (Just curious)

I just checked and a couple of blocked calls to my home phone show up as :08 seconds so, yes.

Not that I'm aware of. The Nomorobo list is surprisingly large so it is possible that some of these bogus numbers were part of it.

I'm glad to see that this is working for so many of you. Mine is set to block with nomorobo and I'm still getting political robocalls.

I'm still getting junk calls as of today (10.25.2014) -- a couple of hang ups from 646-455-3185, which is listed in 800notes as a scam. Nomorobo is indicated as being turned on in my voice settings.

Then why am I getting them again? I used to get them all day. When they stopped a couple of weeks ago, or so.I thought the buggers had given up.

Then I got your email saying you have decided to partner with Nomorobo. Yay!

I said.
But since Saturday 25 October i have had at least seven calls from an id. listed as Hayward, CA (510-876-9960) including one this morning. My second call this morning was from somebody named "Unavailable" and the number listed on my caller i.d. is 697. Both of these are familiar as they used to call all the time; nobody there, no message. Now they are starting again
Is Nomorobo working, or not working?
Please look into this.
TIA

I'm still being called by "Unavailable" with the number 697. Looked it up on Google and it is known spam.
Could YOU look it up?

What does the call log in Member Tools show as the source number for this call?
