I was surprised to see that the fiber drop from pole to my house wasn't ran with a cable for support like my telco and copper lines. If it's left like this, I bet it goes down during the next storm. The thin fiber sandwiched between a pair of wires looks too delicate to be strung on its own.
Anyone notice the same??? How does your final install look?

Mine is like that, too. AT&T did the same. The outer sheathing has embedded reinforcement. See

The light fiber cable ain't gonna fail, you've seen coaxial cables or whatever Comcast uses? The weak spot is the attachment point, where the fiber attaches to the building.
My initial installation was attached to an old AT&T-made attachment, it rusted out and fell off breaking the fiber cable. Sonic came by and reattached it with a new one.

I'm very happy to have now cancelled Sail and have Sonic Fiber running in East Hills!
I'm limited at the moment to a 1GB ethernet port on my DECO XE75Pro so with that I'm getting:
Download: 934.09 Mbps
14.66 ms (jitter: 0.83ms, low: 3.53ms, high: 23.89ms)
Upload: 468.28 Mbps
25.47 ms (jitter: 1.49ms, low: 4.48ms, high: 28.43ms)
Result URL:

I'll be getting a new 10Gb port router next week and will post new a speedtest once installed

Been a long time customer with Sonic with 12Mbps internet for years. Today, I finally got 10G internet and I'm finally enjoying blazing fast speeds (10G link into eero 7 max). On my laptop (over wifi), I'm getting 1,444Mbps down and 1,376Mbps up (5ms ping & 0ms jitter) using Sonic speedtest. My old landline phone number was switched over as well.
The tech was awesome! He fufilled all my requests and did a clean install from the outside in. A good guy to have on the Sonic field team.
At the router, I'm getting 8.12Gbps down and 7.19Gbps up!
