Received only 1 of 2 fax pages

Today I received a fax that was supposed to be 2 pages. However, the PDF I received was only 1 page, even though the top of the first page clearly says "Page 1 of 2". What gives? Is this a problem on the sender's end or on Sonic's FaxLine end?

It is nearly impossible for me to answer that question - but the sending fax machine should have seen the errors and either retried to send the fax or at the least, alerted the sender that only the first page was transmitted successfully.
