Ugh, I'm super bummed out right now.

Neighbor 1, 5 doors down got Sonic a week after being solicited by a sonic rep on the streets.
Neighbor 2, 3 doors down (waitlist for 2 years) was initially ineligible (assuming for the same reason I am not) but called customer service and got an install date next week.

Me on the waitlist for almost a year am being told I can't get sonic because of "more than 1 unpermitted pole near by"
There's a pole literally in my front yard, I'm guessing there is some sort of red tape or something not allowing the fiber to run to it...

I upgraded my network infrastructure at home to support 10GBe with full IDS/IPS, updated all my AP's to wifi7, have ATT on speed dial to cancel as soon as sonic was installed all in anticipation of getting Sonic.

Is there any hope for me to get sonic? Everyone I have spoken to at Sonic has been great, no complaints at all but wondering if I should wallow in sadness or keep up hope here.

Thanks!

Hello -

I'm looking in to this, and we are going to send out some folks to do a Serviceability Check on premise to see what might be possible. I'm hoping we can come up with a solution to get you connected after this long wait!

Thank you,

Just have to share what an outstanding experience I had with Sonic in relation to this request. Eli reached out to me directly, worked some magic and I am now a VERY happy Sonic customer. Big kudo's to the whole Sonic team for really going out of their way to get this installed. I am now wallowing in 10GB bliss. Kudo's to my installer as well, he was well prepared, efficient, accommodating and kind. Really appreciate it.

Thank you again Sonic team!!
