But you need to add $30 for Unlimited Data and they are incredibly incompetent these days.
They couldn't figure out the problem they caused, sent a "technician" (I use the term liberally because my wife is more technical) and after he'd replaced all the perfectly good coax, announced "everything should be good now" and left.
It wasn't good at all and kept disconnecting every morning between 5:30am and 7:30am and for this privellage, they tried to charge me $100.
I'd rather drive Tesla than get Xfinity.

I'm in for 10G just for the cost as I don't expect to see much of a bump up from 1 G service (even with a 10G capable router, 10G network, and a 10G wired computer as not too many internet sites/services will transfer at at close to 900M.
I would to pay sonic $5 a month more to not have a phone line and avoid the phone tax and save $10-$15/mo (considering the bill notes "data 49.99 voice 9.99")!

All you can do is try to convince your Sonic neighbors to request the upgrade. 94114 here btw
I have been waiting for 4 years to get Sonic Fiber to 94114. I just filed a complaint with FCC

Cable internet latency (+ ping) and input lag will never touch fiber. And you are sharing the node with everything else in your neighborhood. Cable is not a true dedicated line. ;-)
