Moving two lines to sonic, need a forwarding service for one

I currently have two phone numbers, one comes through my Vonage box as a landline, the other one is called forwarded by Vonage onto the land line.

Sonic does not have the ability to forward a second incoming number onto my sonic Landline.

Vonage will not continue to forward my second number unless I pay them for full-blown service for a landline and the call forwarding that I am currently paying for.

I need to transfer the second number to a forwarding service, hopefully for a reasonable price. I don’t need to make outgoing calls on that number. I just don’t want to lose it and I would like it forwarded onto my landline.

Can anybody suggest a forwarding service that can forward one line for a reasonable price?

I don't use it myself but I believe that Google Voice can do this.

Agreed... Google Voice can do this. You'd have to go through several steps to get the number ported into Google Voice, but once it's done, it will do what you want, with the bonus of being able to place calls from the number, as well as send/receive texts. The only cost will be for doing the porting of the number.
