I just felt a little sorry for the Sonic reps, and for the people who seem very stressed out by something beyond civilian control.

Lots of newly placed (but not tied in) fiber on Bosworth near Mission St.

Once it is linked to the box on the St Marys Park side of Mission, wonder how long it will take to get a line to my home.

Well now it's looking like the January 2025 estimate that we received back in October is the best we can hope for. In the meantime, I only have to walk about two blocks away to see multiple houses with fiber already up and running. And they had their service turned on back in September.

ADA work just completed at banks and jarboe. I believe this was one of the delays listed a few months ago. the city just completed the work this week.

Last week I saw a sonic truck servicing a box on a post in the corner of jarboe and nevada. I spoke to the sonic employee and asked when nevada would get internet and he said it shouldn't be long now (between 1-2 months he said). Apparently that one box was the most important part and now they just need to cable onto the homes. Fingers crossed!

I just got a schedule date for Jan 13!
Also got a bunch of emails. One stating there would be a technician dropping by before the install appointment to drop the fiber line to my house.

Just got a notice that Banks Street is now active and then got a notice of January 14th for installation.

Wait what? I'm on Banks st (between Cortland and Crescent) but didn't receive such notification. I'm still showing "Construction" on the status page
