Mine shows October as well. Though in reading this thread I think i need to take that with a grain of salt…. Hope it’s close though. Paying for going over my monthly cap with Comcast is killing me. Only option is to upgrade my plan which after one year ends up being 25 bucks more a month and then after two years 50 bucks more a month for tv + internet (with no cap). Crazy gouging for sub par value on internet and even tv side of things.

My 'forecasted fiber live date' is back to October 2024, but Lucy seems poised to grab that football with both hands.

No signs of any Sonic trucks in lower Bernal.

Was it out further than October before?
If so then maybe a good sign that is now showing earlier?

I had to look up the Lucy reference. :D Hope we get to kick the football this month.

Just yesterday, the 1st of October, a bunch of AT&T and PGE trucks in St Mary's Park on Murry. One AT&T truck in Glen Park proper, at the corner of the market...AT&T was fixing/restringing/updating the fiber line (that had been halfway down the telephone pole, with some wiring touching the sidewalk as noticed by yours truly when getting some last-minute dinner items).

I noticed that a permit was recently filed and completed at the intersection of Cortland & Anderson. Is this the last remaining hurdle to getting service deployed in south Bernal (Crescent Ave between Murray and Agnon) or is there some other major work that still needs to be done?

The go live dates are set for the end of each month. You should see a change by the end of August, if not sooner. (Or me being super optimistic and believing fiber will be ready this month)
Sorry for the late reply. It seems the date got moved back. We are still working with the city to get an ADA ramp approved and with MUNI to get lines set up.

Best Wishes!
Any updates here? still says October.

Checking your address, there are no current plans to bring fiber to your block. We are always looking to expand our services and hopefully, we will have news of us bring fiber to your area soon!

Best Wishes!
Hi @jerrielm — I wanted to follow up again on my message from last month. Here's my question again:

I am wondering if you know when the north side of Bernal near Precita Park might become eligible for upgrade to 10Gbps. More specifically, I'm wondering about Harrison Street between Precita Ave and Norwich St.

Is the timeline for 10Gbps upgrade availability on the North side of Bernal connected in any way to this timeline for expansion to the South side of Bernal? Or are these two things totally separate projects?

Thanks in advance for any clarity you can offer here.
Hello!

Sadly, i dont not have insight on 10gig upgrade timelines. The best way to figure out when the upgrade will be ready is to sign up for the 10gig upgrade by visiting https://members.sonic.net/connections/serviceupdate/#/

Best Wishes!

Charlie Brown will get the ball back in January. He just needs to get the Christmas tree for the group first.

Also, you have a pre-order on top of your service. If you do not cancel your service after your Sonic Fiber is installed, you will be paying for two services. I can fix this by removing your current pre-order. We will switch over your service automatically once we get ready to install. Let me know if this is something I can do.

Best Wishes!

Sadly, it was pushed out to January, but it seems the ADA ramps have been completed, as well as the MUNI line stuff.
