Just rummaging through some old posts and I see IPv6 was "coming soon" back in 2018. I know some bits of Sonic's fiber network have it now, but the rest of us would like it too. Any updates?

Same here.. (Downtown/West Berkeley) :(
Hi there, sorry to hear you're having problems getting a IPv6 address. Just to clarify, the comment your replied to is from last year when we were still working on rolling this out for testing purposes. However, native IPv6 is enabled for all our 1gbps and 10gbps Fiber customers (except for LA currently), so you should be able to grab an address if your router is configured for IPv6.

You can see here another Berkeley user commented earlier on this thread in January about finally having access to IPv6
tigertech wrote: Fri Jan 12, 2024 9:30 am Since I've been complaining about this for years, I thought I'd say "thanks": as of yesterday, I now have native IPv6, with a /56 prefix, in Berkeley. Finally I can say goodbye to tunnels.

Thank you Sonic!
If you're having issues, please post what router you're using and what steps you've taken so far, so that another user familiar with your router can try giving you some tips on what to try. There's also a chance the router you're using doesn't support IPv6, but I'm unable to see what router you're using, so can't say for certain.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Brandon C.

Well this is good news.
My firewall is a virtualized Mikrotik CHR, so I tried the configuration recommended here - posting.php?mode=quote&p=63643 - but without any luck.

One thing worth adding - this setup has no trouble getting an IPv6 from Starlink.

Get in touch with customer support. There are settings on their equipment that only they can inspect that may be breaking you. The MAC table comes to mind.
