Hi, I have a personal domain set up with Sonic and it points to an email that I have set up with sonic as well. I have been told that some of my wife's emails are getting blocked by spam filters such that they recipient isn't receiving the emails...but not in all cases. I thought there was an authentication issue that SPF, DKIM could solve. I noticed that Sonic earlier this year implemented DKIM, but I am still having the problem.
I went to MXtools and did the DKIM test and it doesn't find a DKIM record! Do I need to configure something within Sonic to enable DKIM?
Also I was just on the MX Records portion of the Sonic tools site and I see a new entry
I would like Sonic.net to continue accepting mail for takaokaonline.com*.
* Use this option for third-party spam filtering services like Proofpoint, Barracuda, or AppRiver that forward mail to Sonic's mail servers after filtering.
Could this also be the possible source of my issue? If I select this, does that mean that if Proofpoint or the other services are blocking my email that it will solve my issue? Sorry I'm not an admin, just a humble IT servant for my wife trying to solve an issue!
