Thank you so much. Just what I needed to know.
Is there any good reason for me not to buy my own Eero 6?

I've always rented my routers from Sonic, but maybe I should buy my own?

There are several benefits to renting our equipment rather than purchasing your own. When customers rent our equipment, it allows our technical support representatives to offer more assistance with troubleshooting since they gain the ability to log into the routers interface remotely and have specific training for all our rentals. If the equipment is damaged or malfunctioning and causing you any issues, we can send out a new replacement at no charge.

An added benefit of renting our equipment is The Sonic Wire Plan. This is included with all of our rentals and allows for in-home service calls and some repair work with no additional cost. Realistically we shouldn't need to dispatch since all the infrastructure and equipment is new, but if we do you'll be covered.

Well thank you again, Spencer, and I think I will keep renting.
At my age the less things I have to be 100% in charge of the better.
I will let Sonic take care of what they can do better than I can.
