Hi I just moved to the area the end of June and found out that Sonic’s live date is July, 2024. I was really excited but it’s 7/9 today and I still haven’t heard anything and status hasn’t changed from construction. Are there any updates? I really need internet to work from home and I’m thinking of it makes sense for me to wait for sonic now. Please help

I would say if you need to get internet now then go with a new provider for the time being but don't cancel Sonic. Once we are ready to go live we will send you an email to get you started with Sonic. We will also buyout any contracts you might have with your new provider. We don't actually buy out any contracts - we will provide a Sonic service credit of up to a certain amount after customers pay an early termination fee up to that amount with their current provider. A bill needs to be provided which shows the early termination fee for internet access, at the same address.
