Yesterday (Monday 20th), in the afternoon, I got lots of junk email that got by Spam-Assassin. I didn't save any of it, but I was just wondering if there was some kind of outage there.
SA having problems?

Hello! I am not seeing any reports of an outage or other issues during that time. It is possible those spam messages used a similar method to bypass SpamAssassin, which could be a sign that you need to tighten the spam filter. If another influx of spam arrives, I recommend lowering your "required hits" by visiting https://members.sonic.net/email/spam/spamassassin/. Please note that lowering your required hits can falsely flag legitimate messages. It is important to check your graymail after making changes so you can welcome list any needed addresses.

So, I haven't touched SA scores in literally years, so I'm thinking somebody, or some thing, maybe an update to SA, adjusted the scores in a small but important way. Since my account is an email-only account, email is pretty important to me. It worked fine for years, until suddenly it didn't, and I didn't do anything to it. I've whitelisted and blacklisted plenty of things (but none recently) without incident.jordan.m wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 10:07 am Hello!
