I wonder what's going on? I've had this pre-ordered since mid October '23 and we're at April '24 now, that's almost 6 months for me now. Just a month ago I had contacted Sonic directly and was told it would be a few days or so depending on weather but still just further delays. I wish there were a little bit more transparency, but maybe I've missed the memo(s) or I'm simply just asking for too much.

Bummer now it’s been updated to May. I already tripped for a year with Comcast. I feel at this point the go live date will be pushed back another month or two in my neighborhood
And now it’s been updated to June.. sigh.

Hello,
It's been over a year since my post in March 2023 and I'm still in the pre-construction phase for my area (Near Harder/Mission). My current Fusion DSL price will increase by $5 and eventually be discontinued as support for copper lines becomes more expensive to maintain. I'm not happy with the news and will appreciate an update of when fiber will arrive in my area!

There may be some light at end of tunnel. Just saw Sonic truck working in the Santa Clara neighborhoods. Unfortunately couldn't ask questions as the workers did not speak English.

I live in the Longwood / Winton Grove neighborhood in Hayward. About 6 months ago I saw Sonic trucks working in the neighborhood so I thought that was a sign Sonic was coming soon.

My Comcast contract is over and I went to sign up for Sonic and it said service was available at my address when I typed in my address on their website.

After signing up online I was emailed a "fiber status tool" link where I can check the progress of bringing fiber to my address. It seems they are years away from bringing service to my neighborhood because it shows it is in the planning phase still. So the initial message showing it was available at my address appears to be false.

Does anyone know what the truth is? Because if it is more than a year away, I'll just renew my contract with Comcast. Thank you.
