Do the filtering rules configured through webmail operate when not logged into webmail (e.g. when retrieving mail with fetchmail)? If (edit: they do not), is there a way to configure server-side filtering that will work without being logged into webmail? I have a really simple filter rule that just isn't getting executed. My initial take was that the filters were something that runs like procmail when a message comes into the mail server, but perhaps not so.

Hello,

The Webmail filters would only work when using Webmail. Typically this is because most folks use an email client ie: Outlook, Applemail, Thunderbird etc. When not using Webmail, you would need to use the filtering rules on the email client you're using specifically to do this. The only filter that is constantly working in the background no matter what email interface you use is Spamassassin for spam/junk mail, so it's filtered to the graymail folder. Unfortunately, there are no filters we can set up on the server-side. We hope this information helps. Take care.

You can log into member tools and add to the blocklist, which will filter mail headed to your mailbox. That is unaffected by how you read your mail.

Thanks. That looks like it will work.
