What happened to the PUC (?) ruling that ATT had to share their monopoly infrastructure? Is Sonic appealing this termination? Any hope it will resume?

TRUMP is what happened, and his weasel FCC appointee, Ajit Pai.

Individual states are not allowed to set their own laws/policy about communications services in most cases, so we here in California are stuck with the national-level policies.

Wow this is really bad. it seems like there are very few locations now where I can get sonic now. Had I known this would be a problem when I had to move I would have been more involved. We are in some real trouble with internet service if there is only ATT/Comcast to chose from, both are involved in shady practices with their customer's traffic.
