For those looking for a wifi access point that will saturate their 10 Gbps fiber, Engenius is releasing a new access point and has a special pricing until dec 31.
It's still not cheap though at $600.

I use a Mikrotik CRS312-4C+8XG-RM which cost me around $500 from Getic (tax-free since Getic is a European online store). A bit expensive but it's very good. It's got twelve 10Gbps ports - eight RJ45 and four combo RJ45 or SFP+ ports. It's fully managed and runs MikroTik's RouterOS, but can run SwOS too. You won't find anything better for the price.

The QNAP is fine. If you're okay with an unmanaged switch, any of them should be fine since they all use standard switch SoCs from companies like Broadcom and Marvell that can switch at wire speed. The QNAP has two 10Gbps ports. A few brands have unmanaged 5-port 10Gbps switches for ~$250-280 and 8-port ones for $350-400 (e.g. see TP-Link's TL-SX105 and TL-SX1008).

I'd try to at least get a switch that has basic "smart" functionality - not fully managed, but at least supports VLAN tagging.

Do you want RJ45 or is SFP+ okay? SFP+ switches are cheaper but you'd need to either use fiber or DAC cables. If just SFP+ is okay, then the MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN has four SFP+ 10Gbps ports and is only $110-150, and TP-Link have a fully-managed 8-port SFP+ switch for ~$250 (TL-SX3008F).

If you start getting into the $350-400 price range, I'd just go all-out and get the MikroTik CRS312 :)
