Order status and delivery timeline should appear in the fiber status section in the Member Tools, at http://members.sonic.net/.

Not sure what that means but it says:
As Sonic begins the pre-construction phase, our team of engineers are analyzing your current network and working closely together with city representatives to uncover any special needs or city requirements for your area. That’s right — we dive a bit deeper into the process so we can customize the build to your area during this phase. Our Geographical Information Systems team (GIS) and Plant Teams are also working closely together to outline the scope of work and customize the fiber network path through your area. You may not see us around town, but Sonic is preparing to bring you better internet!
Are they going to run a fiber line just for me or it's in the street already and they just need to connect it, That's what I would like to know.

I ordered the same thing and would also like to know if this is ready to the street or what part of the process? Been waiting for fiber for way to long. At this point I have no shame and will hound my council member to death if need be to approve whatever sonic needs.

We are currently still in the pre-construction phase of our build out in your area.

We will be running fiber through your neighborhood (during the construction phase) passing by your house. Once its ready, we will schedule an installation to actually get your home connected to the fiber network.

During this phase, we are figuring out exactly how we will run the fiber and if any special needs/requirements are necessary to build in your area. We appreciate your support however this phase can take some time to complete and, as far as I know, the city is not delaying its completion. Once completed, we will move to the construction phase and begin running the fiber.

Up and running but I have speed problems, I'll open a separate topic about that.

Bummer to hear about performance issues (although it does sound like your network equipment is your bottleneck in the other thread), but I am glad to hear parts of Concord already have service live. I am in Dana Estates and signed up around when you did, but I am still waiting (estimate still says December). I do regularly see Sonic related construction signs so I am hopeful it will be ready soon!
