How do we know if an upgrade is available for our location/account? When I try the "upgrade or downgrade service" in the customer tools, the message is, "We're sorry, no additional services were found at this location."
Would happily pay to upgrade here in Oakland 94609! Let's go!
When is this going to happen in 94122?
Go to Members Tool and request an upgrade, but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen immediately.
Excelsior, Sonic Fiber
It is possible to request now. There is a $299.00 charge to be upgraded to 10gb.
What is the current monthly rate? When I checked at the beginning of the year, 10gb was lower cost than 1gb on a monthly basis. Is that still true? This was in part because 10gb did not require phone service.

The plan is not cheaper, but there's no taxes which is huge. I pay like $13-15 in taxes alone it's nuts!
yep im trying to get 10gb too so we dont need to get the phone plan which add alot of tax to the bill
I requested the upgrade probably more than a year ago and I'm still waiting. Didn't know about ability to drop the phone plan which I've never used, that would be pretty sweet.
At ~$300 per customer to upgrade to 10G, I wonder how many customers they need per exchange to make it financially viable? 10? 50? What do 10G GPON switches cost per port these days?
