If I don't use the phone line, is it okay to unplug the ATA?

I have Sonic Fusion FTTN service and I'm wondering if I don't use the phone line, is it okay to unplug the ATA? Or will that somehow affect my internet service?

If you are not using the phone service you can definitely unplug the ATA, it will have no impact on your internet connection. Just make sure to store it somewhere safe so you can return it if you upgrade or move!

Sounds good thanks for the info. I’m using the sonic communicator app when I want to use the voice line, which is rarely. So I will unplug the ATA.
