When is fiber going to be deploy in S.F?

My mom emigrated to the US from England and lived in San Francisco around 1968, and she tells me about the first time her mom visited, and that her immediate comment about San Francisco was about all the overhead wiring, which is not the norm in the UK.

It's good news for SF though, as we pursue our Fiber-to-the-home efforts.

I just talked to everyone in North Beach, everyone wants fiber here. Tomorrow is good for us. Don't worry about permits or whatever, just bring the cable in, we'll help you set it up.

Sadly, I don't think the inner Sunset is part of the buildout.

any updates Dane? i cant wait to leave my current provider...

I live in Sunset, and would be willing to be the guinea pig for the first deployment :)
