If you have a Pace 5268 that firmware definitely exists - I have 6rd right now. (Though only using one line, not a bonded configuration.) Ask support to send it your way - or exchange your modem.

6RD is supported for bonded modems. Because both one of our reps and leads were confused, we'll mention this to our whole team in our weekly meeting. For the 5168 that you're using, we have a config that supports 6RD, but Pace has been stuck for a while now figuring out how to push that new firmware without wiping out any customized settings. I apologize the delay has been so prolonged.
Or, are you looking for guinea pigs to try it out? :-)
Happy to push the firmware to you, as long as you're comfortable re-specifying any custom settings again.

Adam,

Thanks for the offer! Let's wait until next week when I am
a) the only one home so as not to break anyone else's network while they are trying to work
b) have time to shapshot all of the config pages from the router.
I'm pretty sure the only custom configuration I have is the IP address and LAN port mapping, but better safe than sorry.

What is the best way to ping you when I'm ready for the firmware push?

After finding this post, I reached out to Adam E. and asked to get IPv6 enabled on my bonded DSL. Got that flipped on a bit ago, and I'm happy as a clam. Thanks! :)
