Changing host_name on Mailman and getting it to work

I created a new Email List (unmoderated) and noticed the default host_name is: lists.sonic.net. What steps do I need to take to change the host_name to lists.mydomainname.com and get it the new email list to work properly? I manually changed it in the Mailman admin interface and not sure where test post went.Thanks.

I believe all that you need to do is setup a CNAME record for lists.mydomainname.com to point to lists.sonic.net, then once that is complete modify the host_name field in the mailman admin interface accordingly.

I found an email you sent to support specifying the domain and so I went ahead and setup the cname for you already.
