Any future for those that are still stuck with ADSL1?

As titled.

Currently I'm on legacy ADSL. There is no Fusion, Fiber, or ATT U-Verse in my area. My only other viable alternative is Comcast Business but I hate the idea of going back to them.

From what I've understand since I'm behind RT I'm out of luck. Is there really no hope for me for better Internet?

Sonic is rolling out new services in many different areas right now , I would give them a call and see if there is different ( faster ) service available in your area
