porting old home phone number on line?

Hello All,
Can we request porting of our old home ATT phone number online or do we have to talk to tech support? Where would I find the porting request online, if available?

Hi,

Sadly we don't have an online method of initiating number ports. We'll need to speak with you on the phone. Give us a call at 888.766.4233. We are available seven days a week, 8am to 10pm.

I just spent about 90 MINUTES on hold and was told that porting is only available business hours of 8 to 5, M-F.

Sorry about the bit of miscommunication there on my part. Customer Support is available seven days a week, 8am to 10pm and we can initiate the request for the porting of a phone number. If there is a problem or issue with an existing port request that needs addressing then that is handled by our Network Operations team whom are available Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm.
