Hi,

Is there a way to cancel "WithHold Caller ID" on the fly i.e. by pressing *XX on the phone before I dial? I seemed to be logging into the web portal to disable it which is a hassle.

And on that note - is there like a lists of short cut *xx out there to enable/disable functions on the phone line?

With the Sonic FTTN VOIP line you can use the standard of:

*67+number

Is this not working for Fusion POTS? I used to have that but can't remember if I ever tested that option.

Google it. All the special codes are the same as AT&T.

For both Fusion and FTTN phone service, just dial *67, then the number you want to call. The outbound caller-ID will be hidden for just that call.

And to cancel blocking of the caller ID, if your line is set to block by default, is done by dialing *82.

If anyone was wondering which other star codes you can use on your Fusion Voice line, take a peek: https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Fusion_Voice_FAQ
