Who knows what the reasons are for creating the new umbrella organization, but one fun result of their choosing "abc.xyz" as their domain: I've never received legitimate email from anybody with an .xyz TLD, so one of my most effective spam filtering blacklist rules is to dump *@*.xyz. Thanks guys.

I'd be surprised if they started an email service of any kind on that TLD.
Gawd no! I was just thinking of corporate communications, etc. Want to make sure I don't miss their email when they offer to buy me out of whatever it is that I'm working on....
