I'm trying out IPv6 on my connection with the goal of making some IPv6 hosts accessible on the Internet. I've got Fusion, with a Pace 4111n. I've enabled IPv6 in member tools, which has enabled 6RD. My Mac laptop has now gotten an autoconfigured v6 address and is able to ping out to a v6 host located elsewhere on the net. However, that host cannot ping the Mac. Traceroute6 on that host shows the packets making it most of the way there, to a router at Sonic, but not all the way.

I'm not sure if the cause is in the routing for the final leg back to my router, or some kind of firewalling in the router itself. I turned on DMZPlus mode for the laptop, but that didn't have any effect.

Any ideas on how to make this work (of if IPv6 hosts configured via 6RD are supposed to be reachable in this manner)?

Thanks,

Chuck
