Just saw the article in the SR paper and called in to see if I could get more speed out here in the woodsy Sierra foothills. I had just hung up with a truly awful customer support at my bank, an endless frustrating stream of pushing buttons to get x, y & z service. AND entering my card and security information which, when I finally got to a person, they ask for AGAIN! Auggghhhh! So, anyway, I was not in a good mood when calling customer support at Sonic. First thing I get a voice asking if I want billing, sales or tech support. I wait for "push one, two or three" -- but it's a real live person! Who knew they still existed? Then got a terrifically friendly guy at Sales who explained that, yep, I can get better speed with a modified Fusion.
My bank person would not have passed the Turing test in the sense I couldn't tell the difference between him and a computer. Not so Sonic. Keep up the good work. As I told Sales, I'd much rather give you guys my money than AT&T.
