Just finished filling out an online survey from Consumer Reports, where I gave Sonic.net the high marks they deserve. I hope they make it into one of CR's Internet & Telephone reports.

Received as an email with the following information:

Each year Consumer Reports asks subscribers to participate in a survey about cars and other products. It is one of the largest surveys of its kind, and we use the answers to create our unique reliability and service ratings that we make available to you throughout the year. There is also a ballot allowing for the election of directors for the Consumer Reports board of directors.

s a convenience, online subscribers also have the option to access the Annual Questionnaire and Ballot by logging onto their "My account" page at ConsumerReports.org®.

This is the link, which now shows as "Thanks for completing the survey"

Too bad the public cannot participate. We generally have too small a national market share to be considered, despite achieving typically survey scores that are miles ahead of the firms with the larger share. Ah well, perhaps someday. (As a CR member, consider writing to them to encourage our inclusion!)

Consumer Reports does tend to have a more East Coast-tilted emphasis sometimes regarding products or service providers. For example, they never seem to have Kelly-Moore paint in their surveys anymore.

I did not get that survey request, but CR does not have my e-mail address.

I received some kind of winner of survey popup just now. Unknown if it actually came from a real place- If so I would have told them how much I appreciate Sonic . Net for years of the best service one could ever ask for. JB
