My IPv6 tunnel stopped working this morning. I can ping sonic's end of the tunnel (over both IPv4 and IPv6), but when I traceroute out, the last hop I get is just the remote end of the tunnel (everything else just times out). When I traceroute to my home from outside, I get all the way to 2001:5a8:5:6::2 before it dead-ends with an icmp6 address unreachable. This makes me think something may have gone wrong at Sonic's end, but either way I'd appreciate any advice in how to fix the problem.

It's stopped working for me, too. Same symptom. Rebooting the router and dropping the 6in4 interface and bringing it back up have had no effect. I can ping the sonic.net side of the tunnel but no farther.

They claim they can't help with config or troubleshooting, but this is clearly an outage. If they don't fix outages, they should not be advertising IPv6 as a "feature" at all, supported or not.

Well, it seems to be back for me this afternoon, so I guess just some some outage on the Sonic side that has since been fixed.

We do disclose outages, and fix them as quickly as possible! Check here if you are curious https://corp.sonic.net/status/2015/04/22/ipv6rd-outage/
