I've been getting a ton of spam from colocrossing.com IPs over the past couple months. SpamAssassin couldn't deal with all of it but I think I could have probably written a procmail rule to block all of it (they don't care, they are spam friendly).

Anyway, I haven't seen any sewage from them in the past couple days - I was wondering if sonic.net decided to start blocking incoming SMTP from their IPs, or if I just got lucky.

A quick Google search shows that blacklists are expanding for Colocrossing. Spamhaus is going to /15, /16, and /17 sized netblocks because the smaller netblocks were too numerous to manage. It's virtually a death penalty.

I used to firewall their network in my old router due to them not handling complaints about bandwidth-sucking attacks but I haven't had to put them in my new router yet.

Thanks for the explanation. It's so nice not to see all that crap in my inbox every morning.
