I saw this at dlsreports -- is it correct?
"Sonic also says that if 30% of homes subscribe in an area, they'll provide free connectivity to the local school."

Is it possible to get Sonic to do a onetime mailing to contact everyone in "an area" -- however you would define that, including my block and our closest school?

If getting the word out just to our area -- whatever that's defined as, presumably demarcated by specific telephone poles -- I'd try to organize any interested Sonic customers to do a campaign to accomplish this 30 percent coverage.
There are three Sonic customers on my block.

I think we might have a decent chance to get enough people together to do this, to benefit the local school.

You know where I live.

This is applicable to Brentwood specifically - if 30% of the homes take the Gigabit service, the schools serving the area where those homes get free Gigabit service.
