how about Fiber in the South Bay (94089) near the new 49ers Stadium. We have Comcast installing fiber in our neighborhood at this time & trying to get us to signup with them, but as a long time Sonic customer I have no desire to switch to 'Evil' Comcast. Right now I have Fusion but am only getting 1.5-2mb as I am 9500+ ft from CO :(

I know the city is slow as molasses but any updates on fiber in SF? That last post did not sound so hopeful.

Damn it and I moved from that area about a year ago.....oh well wish I had the capital to pay to bring it cupertino/west san jose area. But Hope the Pilot Program takes off. I'll inform people I know in the area and try to get them to switch when you're up and running.

Hi Mr Jasper,

When are you planning to offer Fusion to Alameda zip code 94502? My friend lives in 94501 and he is enjoying the service. Currently, I am subscribing to your DSL service.

Thanks,
Steven

There's only one AT&T central office in Alameda, on Central (!) Street (i.e., 94501). Much of 94502 is quite a long wireline distance from the central office (as well as being more recently built), and likely, most of those homes and businesses are served by remote terminals (RTs).

If you try to sign up for Fusion, it will tell you if your home is served by an RT.
