Help!

Seamonkey has two slots, "Publishing Address" and "Site Subdirectory For This page". I have tried the following in various permutations:

PUBLISHING ADDRESS (e.g. 'ftp:://ftp.myisp.com/myusername')

Code: Select all

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/<myusername>

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/public_html

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/login

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/home/l/<myusername>

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/<myusername>

ftp://ftp.sonic.net/home/WWW_pages/<myusername>
SITE SUBDIRECTORY

public_html

home/WWW_pages/<myusername>

<none>

Thanks in advance.

regs.

I would give my username, but I don't want a bunch of crackers bashing away at my account

I just popped a copy of Seamonkey onto my workstation, and the following worked for me:

Code: Select all

ftp://ftp.sonic.net//home/WWW_pages/<username>/test/
Note the two forward-slashed between "ftp.sonic.net" and "home" (/home/WWW_pages/<username>/test/ is the full path to the directory I published to, not a relative path from ftp.sonic.net's default).

I did not specify a subdirectory in the separate subdirectory field.

I use that it starts to publish but never finishes.
