I talked with a bunch of tech support people and the conclusion was I needed to talk to an operations specialist on here.

I'm trying to login via FTP to my clients website which has been infected with malicious software.

I've reset the password.
I've had shell access enabled.

I use the username and password.
Try to connect to sftp.sonic.net
port 21
Normal
protocol sftp

Just get a timeout error after 20 seconds.

Using Filezilla.

Hi Josh,

You'll want to either leave the port number blank (if you pick 'SFTP' from the connection type) or use 22. (SFTP operates over the same port as SSH, which is TCP port 22)
