Is Image Magick (in particular, the utility "convert") available on the web host? If so, where is it?

What is "/usr/bin/convert"? I have a MediaWiki instance running under my user web directory, and I get an "unknown option -thumbnail" error. I've got the wiki configured to use /usr/bin/convert as ImageMagick. I'm guessing that /usr/bin/convert is something else.

Ah, I figured out the problem. It's not that ImageMagick isn't there, it's that it's an ancient version (from 2002).

Is there any way from the shell host to see /opt for the web host? I know that there are more updated versions of php than the default there. I'd like to dig and see if there are more modern ImageMagicks.

If there aren't... would it be possible to get a recent version of ImageMagick installed?
