Will the new production address be newssl or ssl as before?

If I am developing right up to the last minute of the switch over, is there a cut off date so that edits are not lost?

newssl.sonic.net will be renamed ssl.sonic.net when the cut off occurs. Any edits to content will need to be synced over to the new server by you. This is an unfortunate extra step but is the only way for us to provide a environment where any changes incompatible to the old server could be made for code to run on the new server.

Sorry to bug you guys... I'm having a little difficulty logging in. I've been told that it's the same login credentials and you've gotta be using sftp. so, just to be clear, I'm supposed to use sftp with same login as member tools and email, and the server name is ssl.sonic.net, correct? thanks!

Yes, although if you've changed your account password recently, it may still have the old password.

Yep, it works... thanks!

Just to be clear, access to ssl is via ftp or ftp w/ tls.
sftp is not the same as ftp w/ tls.
