I'm a software developer, and would like to use one of my Sonic.net hosted web sites to develop and test a database component I'm developing for a client, the component will be accessed over a secure connection from an Android app. Is it possible to add HTTPS/SSL/TLS to a site hosted by Sonic.net ? Preferably via a free method like Let's Encrypt: https://letsencrypt.org/

Thanks,

Robert,

Sonic offers an option called "Custom Hosting" that gives support for SSL via a Linux container. We would be able to install the letsencrypt client in the container since it does not have the same shared setup as Value or Basic hosting.
