Hi.

I successfully connected my website, barbaragiles.com, to squarespace. It is working fine.

I successfully sent an email from me and to me from squarespace. But, to not have my emails go to spam, I need to verify my email that is hosted by sonic.

My first question/concern is: will my current email service between sonic and me be affected?

Because this is email and is CRITICAL, I would like to work with a tech support person at sonic who has done this before. Is it possible to arrange a meeting to do this?

Hi Barbara,

I've gone ahead and added the DNS records to barbaragiles.com per your description and the Squarespage Support guide. This verification page you provided a screenshot of should now pass.

For future reference, I added the following records via Member Tools (Web Sites / Domain Names -> Edit DNS -> Modify Host Records):

Name: _dmarc
TTL: 7200
Type: TXT
Record: "v=DMARC1; p=none"

Name: squarespace._domainkey
TTL: 7200
Type: CNAME
Record: squarespace-domainkey.squarespace-mail.com

Name: (Leave this blank)
TTL: 7200
Type: TXT
Record: "v=spf1 include:mail.sonic.net
include:squarespace-mail.com ~all"

Those should hopefully take care of the requirements for Squarespace's Email Campaigns product.
