Hosting mess up

I have a domain name with Sonic that was parked.

I was trying to work out how to activate the mini hosting site to use as a practice site and instead changed the directory on my own domain name. I then installed Wordpress and started my practice tutorials.

I then realized that the mini hosting website was something else. I then activated the mini hosting site and tried to instal Wordpress. I got an error message Wordpress could not be set up at the URL and directory you selected.


This is what I'm trying to do now:

1) I want to revert my name website to it's original directory and park it again ready to build my own wwebsite. Maybe that means uninstalling Wordpress as well?

2) I want to use the mini website as a practice site and install Wordpress (which isn't working due to error).

I have no idea how to do any of this.

You have already installed wordpress. The tool will not install wordpress into an existing directory that contains files.
Do you want me to remove your wordpress installs so you can start fresh?
