AT&T's arbitrary and unrealistic cap was the reason I switched, and I'm delighted with Sonic's service. I work from home and regularly transfer large image files back and forth to my customers, but with more online multimedia services being offered every month and the growing trend toward cloud hosting of backups and storage, even a casual user can eat up their bandwidth allotment in short order. It's a ridiculous time for ISPs to be creating a climate of artificial bandwidth scarcity at the same time they're touting improved speeds.
