IMAP IDLE problem?

I have used the K-9 mail client on an Android phone to access my Sonic IMAP account for about 9 months with no problems.

Lately, I have noticed that the "push" function (which uses IDLE) is not working. I can retrieve my mail by manually checking for mail, but the push never seems to happen.

I started noticing this about a week ago, but it may have been going on a bit longer. I have not changed anything relevant on my phone as far as I know.

I see that the IMAP mail servers were updated on Aug 25th and I'm wondering if there may have been some change at that time that made the IDLE handler stop working.

Has anyone else experienced problems with push mail not working lately?

A follow up -- push is working again for me, but I do not know why.

I suspect something changed in my phone's environment, so this is probably not an issue with Sonic's end.
