Sonic.net

Current disk usage tells me I have 44,000 email files. I logged into sh.sonic.net to clean house, but I can't find the emails.

du doesn't show them under my home directory. Mutt and Alpine cannot find them, and they don't appear down /var/spool/mail/.

I'm hoping to archive and delete them via the shell. Not interested in deleting 200 at a time in webmail.

The shell server does not have direct access to the mail spools. You can still use a shell mail reader (mutt or pine) to access the messages using imap. This is still apt to be faster than using webmail.
