Does my sonic.net fax line meet the standards to be HIPAA compliant?

I honestly do not know what HIPAA compliance would entail within this context. Inbound faxes are not stored within the fax system for longer than it takes to receive it, covert it to a pdf (this is done on disk in temp files), and then email it out.
